It’s Goodbye to Pyxis… Our first Mariner’s Compass

Our second boat, the first one with a real "head." Did I mention she's for sale? Our second boat, the first one with a real “head.” Did I mention she’s for sale?

What a beautiful boat she’s been. What a labor of love to get her to her present state of semi- repair. We have loved and enjoyed this boat but now, we are one boat too many. In a prefect world we would keep her with a string of dinghys behind the boat we will be moving on to, the new Pyxis. Alas, the world is not perfect and on to a new owner she must go. She will go the way of the lovely Whitehall skiff we had in our driveway for years (all hand curved wood and lapstrake she was); to a happy new owner.
